‘Wejściówka’, Teatr im. Stefana Jaracza
EN In 2024 we conducted an architectural assessment and general access audit for the Teatr im. Stefana Jaracza in Olsztyn and made several proposals for how the theatre might become more accessible and comfortable for visitors. A key element of this plan was the transformation of the basement to create a new box office, retail area and events and educational spaces.
The interior was stripped back to reveal the 100-year-old, rough concrete beams and columns, foregrounding them as the main spatial protagonists. Plywood lining was used to rationalise the existing layout, conceal the lift shaft, add storage and to create the new box office.
Continuing the shift from the rough to the smooth, the retail area features a family of movable furniture elements fabricated in spray painted sheet steel.

PL W 2024 roku przeprowadziliśmy audyt architektoniczny Teatru im. Stefana Jaracza w Olsztynie i na jego podstawie przedstawiliśmy kilka propozycji na ulepszenie dostępności i komfortu użytkowników. Kluczowym elementem tego planu było przekształcenie piwnicy z mało atrakcyjnej przestrzeni gastronomicznej na łatwo dostępne kasy biletowe, sklepik oraz przestrzenie eventowe i edukacyjne.
Częścią remontu było odsłonięcie 100-letnich betonowych belek i kolumn, eksponując je jako główne elementy przestrzenne. Zabudowy ze sklejki zostały wykorzystane w celu ukrycia szybu windy, zwiększenia przestrzeni magazynowej i stworzenia nowych kas biletowych.
Sklepik został wyposażony w ansamble ruchomych elementów meblowych wykonanych z malowanej natryskowo blachy stalowej.
